• Hire a trusted real estate agent
• Submit a purchase offer and sign the contract
• Make your escrow/earnest money deposit
• Schedule a home inspection
• Review the inspection report and negotiate repairs if needed
• Work with lender to complete loan application
• Obtain homeowners insurance
• Review the title commitment and clear any issues
• Review your Closing Disclosure (CD) from the lender
• Wire your funds to the title company (no cashier’s checks)
• Schedule and attend the final walkthrough
